As I get older and closer to entering the work force it occurs to me that it may be time to start a set make up regiment. In college, it is completely normal to be slumping around in my boyfriend's over sized dynamo tee one day and be decked out in flashy going out clothes with a full face of make up the next. I'm pretty sure this is unacceptable at work. I will probably at least need to make an effort to look decent on a daily basis. Well, Sephora has sent me a spend $35 and get $15 off coupon (join the e-mailing list!) so I'm thinkin' why not invest in some make up. My roommates bought me the Urban Decay Book of Shadows palette this year for my birthday (which I'm lovin'!) so I think I'm good to go on the eye make up. What I could use is some lip stick. I wanted to get something long lasting. I looked into some lip stains - Benetint by Benifit and the new Stella lip stains but they were both much too opaque. Actually, they didn't show up at all! Keep in mind I'm Indian. As you can see from my above picture, I am definitely not fair skinned but I am not dark chocolate either. My in between skin tone makes it quite difficult to find make up that suits my skin (especially cover ups and lip glosses that are show up). So, anyone have suggestions?
So it's about time I give back to the wonderful world of Xanga. I'm sure the Xanga community can gain so much through reading my blog posts. Ha! Well, my roommates new ultra cute blog (craftyliang.blogspot.com) has inspired me to start writing in mine. I thought about starting a new blog all together but then I would have to go subscribe to a whole bunch of people. So I guess I will just stick with this blog! Topics I plan to blog about include relationship shiznit, make up/clothes i want but never could afford, random things that piss me off, and of course daily musings. Let's see how it goes! I remember the days when I used to blog daily - several years back. I guess now that I'm all old and gray (21 baby, never felt so good!) I feel like it is pointless to write unless I have something of substance to say (which, mind you, is almost never). Also, I am hella worried about my lack of grace when it comes to writing. If that even makes sense.. Let's just say, I have not read a book, nor have I written an essay, in YEARS (thank you college.. I'm a Computer Science major)! It actually takes effort to sound older than 10. I am very afraid that people will read my blog and be like "wow, what a dumbass.." So please don't judge, I'm not as dumb as I sound, or at least I hope not!

Oh no, I haven't blogged in so long that I can't even figure out how to use xanga anymore! I can't even figure out how to change my childish sounding profile.. AHH!!
